Highlights
Special version for small packs and cans with little stability
Automatisation concept
• Control of the entire machine via a 6-axle servo controller
• Software realised with 3S according to IEC 61131-3
Visualisation
• Machine equipped with 10“ infrared colour touch panel
• Easy copying or selecting of format data, thus quick
changeover to new product sizes
• Interactive failure analysis with the help of machine machine
sketch, real pictures and help texts
• Comprehensive diagnostic functions (e. g. status display
of the complete I/O platform)
• Connecion to higher-ranking machine data collection
systems possible
Communication
• Communication of pancel, control and remote maintenance
via Ethernet
• Decentralised peripherals via a process field bus
(PROFIBUS)
This is how it works
The cans are fed in a single lane, allocated via a motor-driven product allocator to max 4 lanes, separated according to the required grouping and positioned in the feeding unit.
The main feeding unit takes the cans and pushes them into the tray which was previously removed from a magazine and precisely erected in U-form in the cycle chain. When pre-cycling the chain, the lateral tray flaps are glued and sealed. When working with the wrap-around carton, the chain is pre-cycled and the lid flaps are glued and sealed in a separate station.
